This breathtaking movie actually have the same concept or idea with resident evil. Infected Virus, immunization, science and survivals. But i think this book was published a lot more earlier than resident evil, i think they've made the movie in the early 70s or 80s so basically this is the 2nd version.
I admire how a Lieutenant turn into a scientist/doctor. He studied all the theory and made his own lab, went through experiments over experiments in order to come out a cure for the virus, even after seeing his wife and daughter crashed in front of his own eyes. Calling out to survivals through broadcasting, hoping to see someone come forward. But why it only happens after Sam die....~.~ why ......
The infected can only live in the dark, exposing to sunlight will kill them, they jumps high, crawl walls, strong strength that can tear anything apart, knocking themselves on the wall cant even get them kill, as long as they are not exposed to sunlights, they've got intelligent, they hunts human, they trapped Robert Neville with the same trick he trapped them.
But i personally thinks that some part of the story is a bit exaggerated. 3 years living in the New York city alone, electricity, water, gas everything are still good in function? would the electricity still works without maintained? or maybe doctor planted a generator somewhere..lol...anyway he basically owns everything in the town or even the world.....
