I thought i was going to watch Hitman....until the last minute i was outside the cineplex i was told watching Golden Compass...LOL~ nvm...I wanted to watch it as well....

It's a fantastic world they live in, every human owns a demon. Where this demon is the human's soul, demon suffer, human suffer too. A kids demon can change shape, but an adult's cant. Personally think that what an adult's demon turns into, it simply reflects their personality.
Lord Asriel's demon is a panther, Asriel think and act as fast as a panther; Coulter's monkey, as naughty as a monkey...dangerous too....those guards' wolves or dogs just reflects how loyalty they are and how good they are when they fight......
One of my favorite character in the movie, Iorek Brynison.....the Armoured Bear.
Iorek was once a prince, he got defeated by Ragner when he poisoned Iorek's father and took away the crown. He hid in the town with shame, work for the human for wiskey and spirit....until Lyra came, found back his armor and regain his dignity by defeating Ragner in the one on one fight. Ouch...when u see him tear off his jaw..... how powerful when he swing his arm.
Lyra is the chosen one to read the sign of the golden compass. To see the truth and to save everyone against the Magisterium when kids starting to disappeared or kidnapped. Clever little girl, she know exactly what to do when she was put into a situation with crucial decision.

Nice movie.....cant wait arghh.....
