With the logo above the Spiderwick, i had an instant feeling it's about spiders.... lol but it's not... It is something much better than Spiders... it is Fairy...
I love fairy tales... and this is a creepy nice one...
I've been waiting for this movie for long...i thought it might be interesting...and it's better than i expect... cos i didnt expect this much of fairies.... LOL

Arthur Spiderwick spend his whole life researching this amazing creature living close to him... he had brownie living with him, he had a griffin as a pet, he wrote the field guide.... but he has to pay his life with the greatest secret he found.....

Freddie Highmore as Jared Grace and Simon Grace... the little boy in Charlie and the chocolate factory...he's really good eh...i did not notice they were identical twins and first...until i realize i mixed them up.... but the character was really different.... which makes it obvious that they are very different....this proves how good he is eh? or how lousy i am... hah...

Okay....i'm 18 years late for this movie..... haa...
Gotta admit that i wanted to watch this film becos of Sweeney Todd....
I was interested to see how Tim Burton and Johnny Depp were in their 1st film working together.... after knowing they've gone through so many actors including Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks and Robert Downey, Jr..... I believe there must be some reason Tim Burton and Johnny Depp become close friend after this movie..... Tim Burton wanted an actor that act with his eyes.... after all those years being neglected.. he still shy and naive.....

when someone Innocent met someone kind.... how beautiful it is.... but it's sad that the society that is that gave him up.....

It's a very nice version of Where do snow comes from..... i love this version, cos it's too touching or romantic... :\ typical pisces....

Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

This is my latest favorite DVD... Sweeney Todd.....
What a thrilling musical movie.... it is a Movie based on musical stage, unlike other musical movie where singing inside the movie is the song they sing, but in Sweeney Todd, they sing the song and their words..... the background music during their conversation keep us close enough to the movie, you'll never drop out of it... it's almost 80% of singing in there, not much of conversation and the Victorian Era of London's street been transform into a creepy scary fleet street...... Johnny Depp and Tim Burton....one of the most amazing team for the past 20 years..............

oh ya, the swimsuit ....classic..lol..

i still remember how EeLi admire Johnny Depp :P and yes, he's adorable.... it's amazing how shy he is during those interviews and in from of the camera....and i guess he is the only actor that i've ever heard feeling weird watching himself in the movie.... look at how he listen and watch during the throat slitting demonstration....how shy and well-mannered he was, but when his in front of the camera, he's AWESOME...

Games Games Games

What can i say.....
The topic recently most definitely these kind of Time Management Game....
Started with this Burger Shop when my bro save it to my desktop and told me to play....finished the normal Story Mode and half way to the alien stages in Expert Mode..... But i got bored few weeks later, but after i finish a few episode of Mysteryville and started to challenge perfect scoring....why? cos i found out the Hall of fame and started to collect more trophies... LOL
After finishing burger shop with all trophies earned... I began looking for other new games... lol introduced by Cca.... Diner Dash 2...a bit short but quite a nice game...lol... since there's no trophies or hall of fame...not interested for a perfect scoreboard... :P
and this is the Diner Dash Flo On The Go....when i reached this 6th chapter in last stage...... damn...how could that be possible to score 34000...i still havnt figure it out how to... they've added flo's closet to this version and more quakes and lights out plus....picky customers.....
So... leave that for now and i might someday figure out how to solve it..lol
so "Carrie the Caregiver 2 - Preschool" is next.... this is a very cute game....taking care of kids.... the sound... oh yeah, Carrie has a blog too and wow...she use iPhone neh...lol...

Enchanted

A fairy tale.... It has been a while since the last musical like muvee i've watch...and this is a pretty nice one. Colliding with animation, it makes "fairy tale" so real... but the portal to the real world is so...weird.. lol.... the "helpers" in real world is wicked.... but i hate the cockroaches... eukkk.... so now we know chipmunks in real world don't speak... and the prince always live in his own world... hah...it's cool that he kill the giant monster - bus. well, i have to say although the roof top part is a bit "fake" but...u know...it's fairy tale... ha...

The last legion

The Last Legion is better than i expected.... I must say better than In the Name of the King. It's about The Ceasers Empire...... Attacked by the babarian leaving the youngest Ceaser behind, when his commander protect him and fought for his Roman King. Escaped from Roma, joining his Last Legion at Brittania.....with the Legeng Sword held by Julius Ceaser. It's a very nice movie.... 8 out of 10 for this.

All Joy - 大家樂

I went out for Lunch with my dad yesterday..... we always have problem thinking what to eat and where to eat..... and we saw this one shop opposite the street, "all joy -大家樂" the name it is......the moment we walk inside, it was extremely warm in there, i looked around, they have 2 aircons - off, at least 2 ceiling fans - on and extremely quiet inside. 2 table occupied on our right, and we took a seat straight forward.

My dad ordered a tomato sauce beehoon and teh o....and i ordered pork ribs rice and three layer teh c peng.... the waiter walks to the kitchen "one teh o peng and one three layer teh c peng" said him.... my dad look at me.... :swt:

My dad had a good laugh on what i ordered....

A new Header!!

Hey look, it's a new header..... lol...

Yea, i find it a bit stupid cos i'm actually posting it in this same blog of some same look with the new look....hahahaha... but it's fun :P

I was designing my own namecard while i come out with this image "DIP"

it reminds me of "DEEP" when we use to call Fung Yien....cos she's "DEEP" "DEEP"....lol

She's always too "deep" for us to understand or too "deep" for her to understand us... haha...

anyway, it obviously means - Design - Illustration and - Photography....the 3 elements of my life.

A bit "sleepless" these nights, maybe the job is taking too much of my thoughts and time.... sigh...not tat i din wanna sleep, eventhough i've done what i should have done, but i'm still spending nights and nights laying on the bed with my eyes close but my brains running tru mountains and seas......as usual, my sky only turns blue when it's "DONE" and "GONE", it means unless it's out with finishing touches or else...i'm still with my favorite grey skies..... eshhhh!!! gonna be taking quite some time...... I wish it's a good start!!

In the Name of King

I was wanting to watch this movie when i saw the trailer before it was shown in cinema..... But i miss it when it's showing....lol....
It's a tale about a born to be King - Farmer..... defeated the darkness, with the ally of elf and humans..... Only knowing him as the transporter....he has got sexy voice...nice abs and in every hero/heroic movie, it's all about love....Farmer fights for his wife, Theo fights for his Fiona, Peter fight for Jane....etc etc....
The digital effects on the elf with trees and veins? forgotten wat u call that, i think it's a bit too fake...haha... and the dungeon for the orc army alwayssssssss looks the same...hmm...

hmmm....i'm a bit surprise..... i never get to know the story before watching it... so..yea, surprisingly good to me....
Knowing it might be a no turning back situation, he went into the city to involve at the front line for some real truth story.... but what happens in between made him the savior of the children.
It's definitely hard to imagine how people get tru with these kind of life... frighten and hopeless....

will recommend it.... worth watching... ;)
